Cloud-Trim Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cloud-Trim (“the Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.

2. Description of Service

Cloud-Trim is a free tool provided by Unimedia Technology that helps users optimize their AWS cloud environments by identifying underutilized resources and offering recommendations for cost-saving measures. The Service is provided “as-is,” without any warranties or guarantees of performance.

3. No Liability for Loss

Unimedia Technology is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of Cloud-Trim. By using the Service, you agree that Unimedia Technology shall not be held responsible for any of the following:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of data, profit, revenue, or business interruption.
  • Any harm or malfunction in your AWS environment caused by actions taken based on recommendations provided by Cloud-Trim.
  • Any breach of security related to the provision of AWS credentials (though Unimedia takes every effort to handle your credentials securely).

4. AWS Credentials and Security

To use the Service, users must provide AWS credentials (AWS Access Key and Secret Access Key) with ReadOnly access permissions. By providing these credentials, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for creating a secure IAM user and maintaining the security of your AWS account.
  • Unimedia will handle your credentials securely and will delete the credentials after performing the necessary scan of your AWS infrastructure.
  • Unimedia will not access, manipulate, or interfere with any of your data stored on AWS.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Unimedia Technology makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Service or the recommendations provided. Unimedia disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unimedia Technology shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to:

  • Direct or indirect damages.
  • Incidental or consequential damages.
  • Loss of data, loss of profits, or any other form of loss arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

7. Consent to Be Contacted

By signing up for and using Cloud-Trim, you agree to allow Unimedia Technology to contact you via email, phone, or other communication channels for the purposes of:
Providing updates or support related to the Service.

Offering additional services or promotions provided by Unimedia Technology.
Conducting follow-up to improve the Service.
